Parents Anonymous® Inc is celebrating nearly 50 years of supporting millions of parents and children who turned their lives around through evidence-based Parents Anonymous® Programs by strengthening their families, advocating for better services and building resilient communities.
The requirements to start an Evidence-Based Parents Anonymous® Program includes Weekly Parent/Caregiver Groups and complimentary Children & Youth Groups with Supportive Services and access to National Parent Helpline® for ongoing emotional support to prevent child abuse and neglect by strengthening families by ensuring Child Safety, Permanency, and Well-Being; Adult Well-Being and Kinship Navigator Services which addresses the four service areas covered in the Family First Prevention Services Act: 1. Mental Health Prevention and Treatment Program or Services, 2. Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Program or Services, 3. In-Home Parenting Skill-Based Program or Services (Occur Where the Parent Lives), and 4. Kinship Navigator Services.
